Date Balls

1 cube butter (NOT MARGARINE)
1 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup Rice Krispies
1 cup chopped nuts
coconut

Mix butter, sugar, egg and milk. Cook until it comes away from side of pan. Add dates and cook 10 minutes longer. Stir in Rice Krispies and nuts. Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
