Toll-House Cookie Pie

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1 small pkg chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Blend in flour. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell. Bake below oven center at 325 degrees for 50 - 55 munutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top.

Mary brought this to an ILA Spring Conference planning meeting and served it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with a drizzle of caramel topping. Trust me, it was yummy!
